“I have too much money”
Unless you’re a personal friend of Bill Gates, you have never and will never hear anyone say this. Almost everyone has questions about money. How can I save it? How can I earn more of it? What should I do with it now that I have it? The goal of this site is to give you practical information that you can easily apply to your every day lives. The small steps that you take today can lead to much larger positive results in the future. Regardless of how you view your own financial situation, there are always tips and tricks that can help make your money go further.
While I feel like these financial habits are useful for everybody, I think they are especially important for people in their 20s and 30s. This is the time that you really begin to experience major life changes with new careers, starting a family, buying your first home and starting to plan for retirement. It’s in these years that it’s vital to develop good money habits that you’ll carry with you for the rest of your life.
Who am I?
My name is Mike and I created Top Money Habits with the intention of helping people improve their financial situation. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and when my parents introduced me to investing when I was in my 20s, I quickly developed a strong passion for it. I eventually went back for my MBA with a concentration in Finance. I am constantly reading articles and books related to business, personal finance and investing that have really shaped the way I approach money. I’m constantly learning new tips and tricks that I apply to my life and I love talking to others about finances to share ideas.
